Corporate Alumni Campaigns

MSU Corporate alumni campaigns began in 1981 with Ford Motor Company. The program has grown to include campaigns at BDO Seidman, Dow Chemical, Dow Chemical Retirees, Dow Corning, Dow Corning Retirees, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since 1981, over $12 million has been raised through these volunteer led campaigns.

Corporate Alumni Campaigns are an opportunity for Michigan State University alumni to identify one another within their company, network within and reconnect with the university. These campaigns encourage financial support of Michigan State University through individual and corporate matching gifts.

The generous contributions by the alumni are most often matched by their company’s matching gift program. The matching gifts programs maximize the impact and value of the each gift. Companies recognize the role corporate visibility and support plays in their ability to recruit top candidates from Michigan State University.

Corporate volunteers establish an alumni community within their company and become more informed of Michigan State University news and social and professional networking opportunities.

Corporate Alumni Campaigns strengthen the bond between the corporation and Michigan State University. MSU alumni and friends have supported their colleges, scholarship funds, endowments, and many worthy projects and campus initiatives through programs such as this.
